In our fast-paced, attention-starved world, spending truly engaged time together is a profound gift. I made this piece for my daughter’s room shortly after I had my second child to remind myself that the most precious thing I can offer my children is my time and genuine attention. When I can remember this, empathy and kindness flow more easily in an earnest attempt to honor my relationships and the fragile nature of our time on this planet.
